Summary of interview
Ms. Lam Pui Chi recalls the measures taken by her school on combating the disease during the SARS outbreak, such as ways of handling suspected cases of infected students, communicating between the school and parents and the assistance from the parents’ association. She states that after SARS, the public had learnt a lot of lessons, the school was more vigilant and cleaners regularly sanitized the school area. The topic of personal hygiene was also included in the school curriculum.
