Summary of interview
Mr. Apollo Wong introduces the changes in the work routine in the radiology department at Kwong Wah Hospital during the period of SARS, in particular the increase in mobile X-ray services. He recalls how they had to labour under layers of protective clothing, soon becoming drenched with sweat. He recalls the comradeship of co-workers and the efforts they had to make in actively acquiring their own personal protective equipment. He also discusses how the experience gained in SARS influenced the infection control measures in the radiology department afterwards.
